Finglas Strikers clinched the title in the Finglas Premier League (FPL) 2026 final held in Finglas, Ireland. In a thrilling contest that went down to the very last ball, the Strikers secured victory with just one wicket remaining.
Even though rain delayed the match, it was very exciting. The Titans scored 181 runs first, mainly because Vishnu Nair played a brilliant innings of 85 runs.
In response, the Strikers, led by captain Abhilash Nair, put up a determined fight. In the end, Ankur Gokhale scored 33 runs and sealed the win with a boundary off the final ball.
For his outstanding performance in the final, Ankur Gokhale was named ‘Man of the Match’. Abid Hussain was awarded ‘Player of the Tournament’.
