The Church of Scientology & Community Centre of Dublin has highlighted a series of community outreach initiatives, cultural events and volunteer activities in its July 2026 newsletter, showcasing its work with community organisations, faith representatives, activists and local leaders. Since opening its doors in October 2017, the centre says it has welcomed more than 500,000 guests. It hosts community, charity and cultural events, as well as courses, workshops and services focused on personal and spiritual development.

One of the featured events was the “Sounds of Harmony” interfaith concert, held as part of World Interfaith Harmony Week. More than 100 people representing Christian denominations, Islam, Hinduism, Jainism, Sikhism and Scientology took part in the event, which included music and interfaith prayers promoting peace and harmony.
The centre also hosted the “Psychiatry: An Industry of Death” travelling exhibition, presented by the Citizens Commission on Human Rights (CCHR). The exhibition focused on what organisers describe as historical abuses and human rights violations in the field of mental health. Nearly 1,200 people visited the Dublin exhibition, while more than 300 volunteer hours were contributed to support the initiative, according to the newsletter.
In April, the sixth Scientology Volunteer Minister “HELP” Awards brought together volunteers, community leaders, human-rights advocates and other community contributors. The awards recognised volunteer work in areas including cultural inclusion, poverty relief, healthcare and charitable activities.
The centre also highlighted its drug-awareness work during May and June. Its “Truth About Drugs” mobile exhibition travelled to festivals around Dublin, providing free educational material on drug use and its potential physical and mental effects. The initiative reached thousands of festival-goers and attracted interest from people across different communities and age groups, according to the centre.
The newsletter credits the centre’s volunteers, supporters and community partners for helping deliver its outreach programmes. It also invites individuals and organisations interested in volunteering or collaborating on community projects to get in touch with the centre. (Scientology Community Centre)
