Grace Maria Shines with Outstanding Junior Cert Results: 9 Distinctions and a Higher Merit in Irish
Grace Maria Jose, the eldest daughter of Benny Jose and Vincy Benny from Lucan, has achieved remarkable success in her Junior Certificate exams for 2024. Earning 9 distinctions and a higher merit in the Irish Language out of 10 subjects, Grace has showcased her exceptional academic abilities.
Alongside her academic achievements, Grace has been dedicated to Carnatic music for the past nine years, studying under Mangala Teacher at the Mangala School of Carnatic Music. Her musical journey has led her to secure numerous first prizes in all-Ireland music competitions, as well as share the stage with several renowned playback singers from Kerala.
Grace’s artistic talents extend beyond music. She has been trained in Bharatanatyam by Figi Savio and Saptha Raman Namboothiri and has also completed five grades of keyboard under the guidance of Mr. Binu K.P.
Her accomplishments in the arts have earned her prestigious titles such as the Mind Icon and WMC Kalathilakam awards multiple times. She has also been honored with the Fr. Abel Memorial Award at the International Keli Kalamela in Switzerland, affirming her stature as a cultural icon.
Recently, Grace has expanded her artistic expression by releasing two Christian devotional songs on YouTube. She regularly shares her work with her growing audience through her own channel, “Grace Maria Melodies.”
In addition to her artistic and academic successes, Grace is also an accomplished public speaker. Last year, she won the “Best Public Speaker” award in the all-Leinster under-15s category, and she has hosted several cultural events, showcasing her confident stage presence.
Grace Maria Jose’s achievements across academics, music, dance, and public speaking are a testament to her dedication and passion. Her future holds great promise, and she continues to inspire those around her with her hard work and multifaceted talents.
